The first log

Hello, everyone! This is my first post, and I'd like to lay out my plans for the game. I don't want this to be just any pong clone, I want this to be a genuinely unique and fun experience that people can enjoy. Along with more game modes in general, I want to add new characters, options, music, and all that other good stuff. Also, I have a few ambitious ideas. For one, I want to have smash-like character fighting. Well, the only thing that's really going to be smash-like is the so-called "final smashes" that the characters will have, for the lack of a more specific term. Each paddle, or Pongling, will have a specific power related to them which they can utilize after they've been scored against enough. It's sort of a comeback mechanic, I guess, but I'm excited to implement it. The other very big and ambitious idea I have is somewhat of a story mode, which will let you unlock new Ponglings as you progress. There will be bosses and minigames and many more goodies to unpack, so stick around! Or don't, but whatever you do, just remember that you matter. Enjoy!
